I live on my own don't use aircons or heating in my house because prices through Nau Mai Ra are ridiculous loudly high and you have to pay weekly, which idms hard when you are a pensioner and get paid fortnightly, and you have other bills to pay as well. This company might have a Maori named kaupapa but believe you me their power prices are expensive.

Very good to start with when I joined, then our bill went from $20-30 a week up to $50-70 a week. Had problems because I made manual payments from when I joined, and I was in credit. They tried to get me to stop and said maybe Id be better off going somewhere else as they wanted to direct debit me instead. We now have solar installed.
Pros
Love the fact I can help someone else or schools and Marae
Cons
Solar power but back rate sucks at 8c. We feed the grid 3-4times waht we use but are only just getting enough to pay the bill which is about $7-$10 bucks a week.

Changed provider and cost has stayed the same and am able to help others at the same time who may be struggling

The guys are working on communication, and still need to keep working on it
